Hi, I'm Candice! I'm glad you're here.
My Story
I began my career as a teacher.
I taught high school English for four years before taking my learning and facilitation expertise into the corporate learning space. I loved teaching, but wanted a new challenge, so I then spent the next ten years climbing the ladder in corporate America where I led Talent Development strategies and teams in several industries: financial services, insurance, retail, and fund accounting. I spearheaded cultural transformation, guided the people change management strategy for a large merger, and facilitated leadership development and coaching for hundreds of leaders to help them build trusting, high-performing teams. My work has been featured in TD Magazine, the flagship magazine of the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
I am a certified coach.
My passion for helping others tap into their strengths and find fulfillment in their work led me to into full time entrepreneurship. As a certified coach and Owner of Candice Hunt, LLC, I work with a variety of clients from CEOs and CFOs to those seeking career changes, as well as those looking to improve personal wellbeing. Each person has unique needs and goals. My approach is holistic and tailored to each person.
I am an impassioned speaker.
I know that public speaking isn't easy; believe me, I've been in your shoes. But I've grown to be a skilled speaker and learned how to manage my speaking anxiety so that I actually enjoy it. I speak at conferences and events, and I've taught public speaking to leaders within the organizations where I worked. NowI I help my clients achieve their speaking goals.
My favorite role is Dog Mom.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my not-so-little-chocolate lab Elouise Poppy Coco. She makes life "sweet."

3-Month Package: For those looking to make real change, this package is for you. We will examine your priorities and values, set goals that align with your values, and develop an action plan to achieve those goals. Real change happens once you make yourself a priority. Package includes eight 50-minute one-on-one coaching sessions, tools to support personalized goal attainment, and email/text support between sessions.

Note: After you go through a coaching program, you may want occasional spot coaching to keep you aligned with your goals, new habits, and thought patterns. Spot coaching is available at a discount for those who have completed the 3-month program.
Leadership & Career Development
Effective team leadership begins with self-leadership. This package is for leaders (both current and aspiring) who wish to gain an understanding of their thought patterns, motivators, and communication style, along with the impact these can have on our workplace relationships. We will talk through current leadership challenges and utilize assessments and tools to build actionable goals to help you either gain the self-leadership needed for a future leadership role, or help you build a more trusting, high-performing team culture.
For those new to the workforce, feeling stuck in an uninspiring job, or looking to make a change, we can help you create a career plan that aligns with your values, strengths, and goals. We will work together to identify your ideal career path and develop a strategy to achieve success.

Public Speaking Coaching
Have you heard that public speaking continually beats DEATH as people's number one fear??
It doesn't have to be that way!!
The ability to engage, inspire, and motivate an audience is a crucial leadership skill, and even the best speakers often say that they face some level of anxiety when they stand in front of a group. You may think you're a "terrible" speaker because you want to vomit every time you have to speak, but the only difference between them and you is that they've learned how to manage their anxiety. And you can, too.
But bidding farewell to that wave of nausea DOES take time and lots of practice. We use an approach based in science to help you retrain your brain's thought patterns, manage anxiety, and give you the confidence you deserve. We will also explore tools to help you craft a compelling message, and you'll learn effective presentation skills. Since each person has unique needs, this package is completely customized to help you work through your individual needs so that you can become the speaker you have always wanted to be.

Empower Hour
You may not be ready to commit to a coaching package, and I understand. That’s why we created Empower Hour. Join me for a one-time 60-minute meeting where we will work together to empower you to work through a specific barrier or block in your life. Empower Hour works best for those with a specific challenge, or those looking for help setting goals. By the end of our session, you will have specific goals and action items to help you break through your barrier.
$250 per session
Group Coaching
You may prefer a group setting where you can connect with others who are on a similar journey. Within the safety of this small group, you'll find greater accountability, a supportive network, and diverse perspectives and experiences. Sessions are virtual so you can join from anywhere in the world. Best of all, these relationships and support will continue long after our sessions end.
